A place of natural wonders.

Our winery is nestled in the heart of the Carche Valley, a Regional Park home to the highest mountains in the entire Region of Murcia. Here, we are surrounded by vineyards that stretch as far as the eye can see, and a spectacular natural environment that offers the mountains as a backdrop. Every day, as we look out over our vineyard, we see the untamed beauty of the nature surrounding us, and it is this very beauty

that breathes life into our grapes and, ultimately, into our wines.

Jumilla, where Monastrell reigns.

In the world of wine, few regions possess the mystique and allure of Jumilla. Located in the southeastern corner of Spain, Jumilla has almost reached cult status among wine connoisseurs, thanks to its quality-focused producers and a star grape that has captured the hearts of all who have encountered it: the Monastrell.

The heart of Casa de la Ermita: Our pristine vineyards.

Our story unfolds across 140 hectares of meticulously cultivated vineyards. Here, we cultivate a rich variety of grape varieties, including Monastrell, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Macabeo and Chardonnay. In our vineyards, located between 400 and 800 meters above sea level and benefiting from the proximity of the Mediterranean, we cultivate grapes that reflect the uniqueness of our terroir.

Commitment to organic viticulture.

In our pursuit of excellence, we have fully embraced organic viticulture. Each wine from Casa de la Ermita is a testament to our commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. From cultivation to bottling, every step is taken with the utmost care to preserve the integrity and purity of our wines, thus ensuring an authentic and nature-respectful oenological experience.

A unique oenological experience.

Our winery offers not only exceptional wines but also a complete oenological experience. With vineyards located no more than 3 km from the winery, we guarantee the freshness and quality of our grapes. The average age of our vineyards, up to 50 years, is a testament to the depth and complexity of our wines.

Philosophy of minimal intervention.

At Casa de la Ermita, we deeply value traditional and environmentally respectful techniques, such as the hand harvesting of our prized Monastrell grapes and the implementation of night harvesting to preserve the quality of our varieties. This approach is crucial in crafting wines that resonate with the authenticity of our terroir. Committed to minimal intervention in the winery and backed by IFS certifications and organic agriculture, we dedicate ourselves to sustainable and eco-friendly practices. This careful and respectful approach brings to life wines that are a genuine and distinctive reflection of the richness and uniqueness of Jumilla.

The art of winemaking.

Our winemaking process is a delicate balance between the most innovative techniques and traditional methods. This approach allows us to preserve the essence of each variety, ensuring wines with a distinctive personality and unmistakable character. The meticulously selected French and American oak barrels play a crucial role in the aging of our wines, adding complexity and depth to each sip.

A fusion of experience and youth.

Our oenological team combines youth, dynamism, and international experience with a deep knowledge of the local terroir. Together, they work tirelessly to create wines that reflect the taste of our land, wines with a unique identity.
